As Medfield's Community Foundation, MFi empowers residents to fundraise and give to local non-profit causes they care about. With 99% of your donation directly supporting the initiative of your choice, giving to MFi is the most impactful way to support your hometown.

By the Numbers:  2001 – 2024

Celebrating over 23 years of high impact community fundraising by volunteers!

Over $5,000,000 raised for over 50 projects and nonprofit initiatives benefitting the Medfield community to date.

Over $760,000 raised for the Medfield Foundation Legacy Fund, enabling 14 grants totaling over $100,000 given to Medfield nonprofit organizations and initiatives, providing important funding for their work.

Thousands of walkers, runners and volunteers have participated in the Angel Run, raising over $280,000 to support the Medfield Foundation and its Community Assistance Fund, helping people in need.

Hundreds and hundreds of volunteers have been involved with MFi to make Medfield a better place.

Over 14 years, 129 Extraordinary Volunteers have been celebrated at the MFi Volunteer Awards.

Over 60 high school students have participated in MFi’s Youth Leadership Program, inspiring the next generation to care and make a difference.

Legacy Fund Impact Report

Give for the future while benefitting today! Since its inception in 2018, over $760,000 has been raised for the Medfield Foundation Legacy Fund Endowment enabling nearly $100,000 in grants to Medfield nonprofit organizations and initiatives.

Through its competitive “Pitch It!” grant process, the Legacy Fund has provided an important source of funding to the following community programs:

Community Assistance Fund Impact Report

Through our Community Assistance Fund which is funded with the proceeds from our annual Angel Run, MFi has directed over $280,000 of emergency funding to Medfield residents in need.

Camp Fund Impact Report

Bringing joy to kids’ faces, MFi’s Camp Fund has helped Medfield families with financial difficulties give their child the opportunity to build cherished memories, positive experiences, life-long friendships and experience the wonder of nature. Established in 2017, MFi’s Camp Fund has provided over 265 enriching weeks of summer camp over the past eight years.

Over the past 22 years, MFi has partnered with many community initiatives ranging from public art projects to local parks, all of which have enriched the lives of Medfield residents and strengthened our community.

Council on Aging Senior Bus

"The Bus for Us," MFi's first project, provided important funding for Council on Aging's very first bus, without raising taxes, during a time of expensive school renovations.

MHS Field, Track and Bleachers

Replaced MHS's dilapitated track, bleachers and announcer hut, complimenting the new turf field.

MHS Turf Field of Dreams

MHS's first turf athletic field, fundraised by parents of athletes, to replace the original field which was built on wetlands and was often muddy and hazardous.

Dale Street Playground

Replaced MHS's dilapitated track, bleachers and announcer hut, complimenting the new turf field.

To support athletes and teams at MHS.

To support the needs of the MHS Theater Society.

Angel Run (Natasha Domeshek
Fund)

Created by the family and friends of a beloved third grader, funding scholarships based on kindness for her class of 2012.

For the Wheelock School Library book collection, in honor of Natasha who loved to read.

Festival Fund

For Medfield Park & Rec. to host Spring Fest and Fall Fest musical performances.

The Medfield Helping Hands is a volunteer network that supports Medfield families in temporary crisis in many ways that include bringing meals, providing rides, picking up shopping, etc.
